HOST FAMILY ACCOMMODATION

Leixlip and surrounding areas Full board accommodation

Living with a host family is a great way for students to continue practicing English. Irish people are renowned for their warmth and friendliness and our host families welcome our students into their home like another member of the family. Our families have a strong sense of community and enjoy teaching students the Irish way of life.

Our host families are an integral part of our programmes and what make us stand out. We have a full-time host family coordinator who is dedicated to recruiting the best families and regularly visits existing families to ensure high standards are being maintained.

Families live in Leixlip and the surrounding towns of Celbridge, Maynooth, Kilcock and Dunboyne. Some families are located within walking distance to the school while other students take a private coach.

Breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal are provided.

Students spend Sundays with their host families and families organize an activity or excursion for them.

We are in constant contact with our host families for the duration of the students´ stay and our host families receive excellent feedback year after year.

destino PROGRAMA
Leixlip, IRELAND
Live in a small town on Dublin's doorstep

north kildare

Our junior centre is located in Scoil San Carlo Community School in Leixlip.

Leixlip is a small, thriving town on Dublin´s doorstep, situated just thirty minutes from the city and airport. Established by the Vikings, it has a population of approximately 15,000 and boasts many parks, walks and green spaces as well as the historic Leixlip Castle. The town is also famous as the home to Arthur Guinness´s first brewery in 1755.

Our host families are located in Leixlip and the nearby towns of Celbridge, Maynooth and Kilcock in North Kildare, all ideal locations for young students to enjoy the best of both worlds: authentic life in a small town in Ireland, yet on Dublin´s doorstep.

The locals are friendly and the strong sense of community is evident in all aspects of daily life.
